SETTLING FOR LESS?

“For I know the thought that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thought of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11) TEXT READING:  2 Kings  4:8-17 A ccording to Ephesians 6:11, one major reason you must be fully kitted with God’s  Armour  is to enable you overcome Satan’s tricks. He will be okay if he can get your child or money to replace God in your life. He will attack your defence system to try and make you loose control in at least one area of life. The devil may suggest to you to take it easy, that going to Heaven is not that hard, that you do not need to be so fervent all the time, when he knows Revelation 3:15-16 speaks to the contrary. He can suggest to you to pay your tithe but not all, and to give offering but not cheerfully with excuse that God understands. Moreover, the worst lie Satan can tell you is that you are okay just as you are. That is a big lie! You are not okay as you are! If you bel...

"KEEP MOVING FORWARD"

W hether it is convenient with the devil or his agents or not, God will move you forward on every side this month in Jesus name. Delays and stagnation is not your portion. God said through Moses to Israel in Exodus 14,  "Tell my people to go forward" Have you tried running forward and looking backward at the same time? It is almost impossible to run effectively forward and look backward at the same time. You might even bump into something that might hurt you along the line. That is how difficult it is for people that are dwelling on their past and expect to move forward. Stop looking at where you have been and start looking at where you can be. You must understand that you can never change the past; you can only work on your future. The devil will make you dwell on your past, so that he can succeed slowing you down. You must understand that we have all made mistakes in the past and we are most likely going to make more without knowing it. Every great man or woman...

I WORK FOR GOD, NOT MAN

"Servants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not only when their eyes are on you as pleasers of men, but in simplicity of purpose [with all your heart] because of your reverence for the Lord and as a sincere expression of your devotion to Him. Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, Knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3:22-24)  Amplifier This message is a confirmation of what God has kept in the kitty with counsel to create the balance between the life tripod: work, family and you. Sometimes we appear to be burnt out because of pressure, dissatisfaction, chaos and lack of fulfillment. Here is God's counsel concerning you:

SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY

Knowing this, what you say about yourself and about your situation in the midst of a crisis is of keen interest to both God and the devil. It does not matter what anybody may say about you; what matters is what God hears from you and what He says concerning your destiny, which will determine your future. Beloveth, your confessions affect your receipts. The Spirit of the Lord is saying to somebody here right now. He says, "You shall decide and decree a thing, and it shall be establish for you; and the light of God's favour shall shine upon your ways, says the Word of God" (Job 22:28). Therefore I make a decree upon your life that throughout this week, anything you say to go will go and whatever you say to come will come because your God will honour the word of your mouth, in Jesus' name. Brethren If you believe, I wants you to 'Like' & write your 'Comment' of faith here, in Jesus' name.

“TALITHA CUMI”

I t is with great joy that I welcome you to this page. You have laid your fingers on the keys that lead you to a distinctive ministry on the move. Its sole aim is to see this generation swept by God’s wave of salvation, and that every believer reaches his destiny. Moreover, I have a word for you; the Lord said your days of weeping are over. If Jesus could speak to the damsel that was dead “Talitha cumi”, and straightway the damsel arose, and walked. (Mark 5:41-42) He also spoke to the wind “Peace, be still” and the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39-41) Beloveth, that means every difficult situation around you since the beginning of this very month will hear the Word of Jesus Christ today, and obey. Therefore, I stand on the word of God and by the power of God vested in me; I hereby Prophesy over your life, health, business, career, ministry, marriage and everything that surround you, they shall hear the Word of God today and there shall be total ...

“God Will Not Forget You”

“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee” (Isaiah 49:15). G od never becomes preoccupied or neglectful toward one of His children. God said it would be more likely for a nursing mother to forget the infant at her breast than for Him to forget one of His children! The nursing mother has a keen sensitivity to her baby. Even if the infant is in another room the mother's senses are in tune with her child. The mother knows when it is time to feed and care for the child. The mother never becomes so preoccupied with other things that she neglects the needs of her child. It is fitting that God chose this imagery to describe how He looks after His people, for He (God) is more sensitive to the needs of His children than even the most loving mother. He anticipates every cry for help. Even before we can call out in need, God is responding with His answer. The...

"Nothing Will Be Impossible"

“For nothing will be impossible with God.”—Luke 1:37 The angel Gabriel told Mary that God was planning to do something humanly impossible. All human logic would agree that a virgin could not give birth to a child. It was impossible. Yet this is exactly what was to happen. When God speaks of doing the impossible, it is no longer absurd. When was the last time God did the impossible in your life? When was the last time God spoke to you about what  He wanted to do and you were scared to death by its magnitude? God still does the impossible! Too often we acknowledge our belief that God can do whatever He wants, then we add a safety clause: “But I just don't think God will do that with me!” We become practical atheists, believing that God can perform miracles but never expecting a miracle in our own lives. God wanted to bring salvation to all of humanity. It is critical that Mary not only believed God could perform a miracle but also adjusted her life to the awesome w...

A PLACE OF PRAYER

Dear Friend,  Today is going to be a day of breakthrough in your life!  You've been praying, interceding, petitioning God for something that has been weighing on your heart. You may have begun to think it wasn't going to happen. Well, I am standing in faith with you today, knowing that . . . Ye shall receive it!  It's not wrong to desire things from God; you can approach Him in prayer with the desires of your heart. 1 Corinthians 2:7-10 says that the Spirit of God reveals to you the things that God is preparing for you. You may not have seen it in the natural, but it is being revealed to your spirit.  That means when you spend time with God, it is the Holy Spirit giving you that desire, those dreams, that passion. It's time for you to start believing what He's telling you so you can receive!  Know this: Seeds of faith sown in prayer will always reap a harvest.  And your harvest is coming in due season. But first ...

“Buy...Without Money”

SCRIPTURE READING: “If any one thirst let him come to me and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:37-38). B eloved, Jesus is calling you today and wants to give you Water, Life, Eternal Life. He calls: “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come; buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why do you spend money for what is not bread...” (Isaiah 55:1-2). Friend, how many times did you try to change yourself? How many times did you try to be a better person? How many times did you try to be what you like to be? And how many times did you find that you are not able to do that 100%? Today you can have real Life! Today you can have Eternal Life! Jesus said: “If any one thirst let him come to me and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:37-38). ...

"ALCOHOL AND IMMORALITY"

"Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things." (Proverbs 23:33) TEXT READING: Proverbs 23:29-35 Ephesians 5:18 says you should be so full of the Spirit  and not with wine. That means, you should be so full of the Spirit that there will be no room for any spirit of liquor to occupy. If you are not full of the Holy Spirit and you drink beer or alcohol, you cannot avoid confusion. Those who take alcohol will most likely find sexual sins attractive. Some of them have as a result gone into incestuous intercourse with their daughters or relatives or even rape. Alcohol makes one more vulnerable to sexual sins. If you were struggling with your flesh and you start taking alcohol, you will descend into a deeper level of bondage. Verse 33 of today's reading says, "Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things." Some Christians will build their personal house and instead of creating...

The God of Second Chances

“But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there just as He told you.” (Mark 16:7) D oes God give second chances to those who have failed Him? He certainly did so for Peter. Peter had proudly announced that he was Jesus' most reliable disciple (Matthew 26:33). Yet Peter not only fled with the other disciples in the moment of crisis, but also blatantly denied he even knew Jesus (Matthew 26:69–75). Peter failed so miserably that he went out into the night and wept bitterly (Luke 22:62). How compassionate the risen Christ was to Peter! The angel gave the women at the tomb special instructions to let Peter know that He was raised. Jesus took Peter aside to allow him the opportunity to reaffirm his love and commitment (John 21:15–17). The risen Lord also chose Peter as His primary spokesman on the day of Pentecost, when three thousand people were added to the church. God's desire is to take you from ...

"No One Can Prevent You"

TEXT READING: "Only Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh remained alive of those men who went to scout out the land." ( Numbers 14:38) T he decisions and disobedience of others will not cancel God's will for you. Other people's actions will affect you, but no one can prevent what God wants to do in and through you. Joshua and Caleb trusted God and yet were forced to wander in a wilderness for forty years because of the fear and disbelief of others. Have you ever felt that someone was thwarting God's will for you? Perhaps someone kept you from getting a job or earning a promotion. Perhaps the government would not approve your application or a committee disagreed with your recommendation. Do you believe that mere man can stop God from accomplishing His purposes in your life? God did everything He intended to do in the lives of Joshua and Caleb. His primary assignment for them had not been to enter the Promised Land but rathe...
